Since I have been having problems creating a design for my theater and trying to fit everything into a mushroom cloud shape. i have decided to flatten the form of the mushroom cloud and use it in plan view. So in a sense the explosion is colliding with the property line and having a ripple effect backwards.

It feels so forced. I think you may want to create a theater that has the ideal layout for the theaters, not forced into a mushroom cloud. The stacking, the stepping can all be taken from the mushroom cloud. Try stepping down the site and up vertically. Also, theaters like to be wedges, that will help your concept instead of long rectangles.
